The Hurlingham Club, in a splendid London setting by the Thames, has what are probably the best croquet lawns in the UK.

This year's tournament suffered a bit from the rain but had sunny days too, and a 95% solar eclipse. Seventy-six competitors played over 9 days in singles, doubles, mixed doubles; handicap and advanced events. The tournament is in its 98th year.
