Croquet club celebrating a cup 'first'
MEDWAY Croquet Club have won through to the prestigious finals of the Longman Cup event for the first time.They reached the final - to be contested at Cheltenham in October - when Paul Miles, Rodney Parkins and Adrian Dickins teamed up to overcome Woking 3-2 at the weekend.
Miles and Mundy won a doubles game while Mundy (plus seven) and Dickins (plus two in the decider) were successful in their singles.
